I am plagued daily by things like chronic pain, positional tolerances and nerve damage among other things that have of course caused numerous issues – but unless I told you – you may not know or even suspect. My nerve damage compounded with age and diabetes has led to 'ED' (erectile dysfunction) which is a tough thing for a man to deal with. I struggle with it a lot. Makes you feel worthless and it is a frustrating thing to add to the list of health problems that I deal with. But at the end of the day there are worse things and when I have a clear head I can rationalize that a bit more. Like most things in life – we hide our pain as best we can. There are times it controls me much more then I control it. More than I would care to admit. As I said there are worse things – or it can always be worse. I like to throw in that caveat to add some perspective. Still – these issues bother me and are part of my daily grind. I've been trying to focus on some good daily practices lately – reading, writing, eating better, playing the piano and getting in a light workout and enjoying a walk or bike ride.
